Alex Morrison

Alex Morrison has practised exclusively in personal injury and compensation law for more than a decade.
He has acted for clients seriously injured in workplace incidents, motor vehicle accidents and public liability matters, including complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and large insurers. His experience includes litigation in the NSW Supreme Court and the Federal Court, as well as matters arising from significant incidents both within Australia and overseas.
Before establishing Coast & Country Compensation Lawyers, Alex led a public liability and travel law practice in Sydney. He made the deliberate decision to return to the Shoalhaven region to build a practice that combines serious legal capability with genuine accessibility for regional clients.
Alex understands how insurers assess risk, defend claims and apply pressure. He prepares every matter accordingly.
He is committed to giving clear, realistic advice from the outset and pursuing outcomes that are fair, sustainable and properly supported by evidence. Clients deal directly with him throughout their matter.
Outside the office, Alex lives locally with his young family and values being part of the regional community he represents.

Carol moved to Australia about a year ago. Until she moved she was a JP/Magistrate for over 11 years in the UK. She sat on her local Criminal Bench for 10 years, and was a Chairman on the Family Bench for a longer period. Carol found this role deeply rewarding helping to deliver justice and fair outcomes within her local community.
Her work assisting Alex at Coast and Country Law continues her commitment to the legal field, allowing her to be actively involved in supporting cases within her new community.
